While the SoundAV brand itself is relatively new, having been established in 2025, it is built upon a foundation of seasoned industry professionals.

 

The majority of the SoundAV team, from the Director level down, are highly experienced professionals with many years of expertise in AV system consulting, design, implementation, maintenance, and support.

Working on large AV fitouts, providing diverse solutions across sectors such as live performance, studio production, education, corporate environments, government, leisure, retail, and more.

Ongoing Support

SoundAV offers comprehensive ongoing support and maintenance packages tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients. We consider various factors such as the age and complexity of the equipment (including support for legacy systems), the nature of the space, and the activities conducted within it.

Our support packages include telephone assistance and on site assistance. The telephone support is provided by skilled service engineers who can quickly address simple issues or guide clients through temporary workarounds until a technician can visit the site.

The support line is available during regular business hours on weekdays. For clients with critical support needs outside of these hours, custom packages can be arranged, including support for live events that require assistance during evenings or weekends.

Capability

At SoundAV, we are committed to delivering the highest quality results. We are industry trained, CTS, Prince2 Practitioner certified. Our technicians are, at a minimum, AVIXA Recognised AV Technologists, with many working toward becoming CTS certified. Additionally, we hold certifications from leading industry brands such as QSC, Crestron, Extron, AMX, RTi, Philips, SMART, WyreStorm, Poly, Yealink, Ampetronic, Univox, Shure, Bose, Biamp, BSS, and continue to expand our certifications regularly.

All SoundAV technicians hold current Working with Children Cards, white/red cards, and EWP licenses. With A-Grade electricians on staff, allowing us to manage any electrical and data requirements necessary to complement your technology deployment. Our electrical technicians hold Registered Electrical Contractors license, ACMA Open Cabling License, Certified Siemons Communications Installer, Certified Siemon, Panduit, R&M, Molex and Commscope Communications Installer, Cm3 Certified.

We handle every stage of deployment with our in-house Account Managers, Project Managers, Engineers, and Technicians. Including System design, project management, rough-in, fit-off, commissioning, configuration, testing, programming, and DSP configuration.

Our team also performs reactive service calls and preventative maintenance visits, and we can include maintenance programs as part of our proposals.

Our full-time administration staff ensures that our clients receive exceptional service, while our multiple online platforms are designed to maximise performance and support.

Aconex, Hammertech, Procore:

we use industry management tools, to streamline project coordination, enhance compliance tracking, and improve workflow efficiency across construction and engineering projects. These platforms help ensure seamless communication, document control, and safety management, keeping teams aligned and projects on track.

D-Tools, Visio, and AutoCAD:

These tools are used for design and documentation, ensuring accurate and detailed planning for all our projects.

Microsoft Office 365, Creative Cloud, Apple App Suite, and Google Docs:

We use these platforms for documentation and collaboration, ensuring we can work seamlessly on your preferred system.

MS Teams, Zoom Rooms:

These communication tools allow us to stay connected with our team and clients, ensuring smooth and efficient communication.

In addition to our technical expertise, we also offer design and documentation services, with extensive experience using Visio and CAD.

SoundAV operates across all regions of Victoria, with multiple installation teams and technicians ready for deployment. We also have trusted integration partners in other states and frequently travel to New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, and New Zealand for installation and commissioning projects.

We carry full liability insurance coverage up to $20 million, as well as indemnity and WorkCover insurances. Certificates of currency are available upon request.
